Healthy Eating: A Gift for Your Family
and Breastfeeding: A Gift for Your Baby provide mothers with limited literacy and resources access to the essentials of breastfeeding and nutrition. This multi-media, bi-lingual site communicates through culturally-sensitve videos, animation, photographs, diagrams and audio. This site was created by the Fund for the City of New York in partnership with the Morrisania Neighborhood Family Heath Center-WIC program in the Bronx, NY. Healthy Habits Campaign
The California WIC Program has developed a series of activities designed to prepare for the upcoming food package changes. The campaign includes training on staff wellness, healthy lifestyle changes, the new food package, medical referrals and participant education on these topics as well as using the new WIC food checks. Includes materials in Spanish, Armenian, Chinese, Hmong, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese.
