Coordinating Nutrition Services Across Programs: Partnerships with WIC, CACFP, Head Start, and the Child Care and Development Fund Program

Partners in Promoting Health and Nutrition for Young Children and Families

In January 2018, USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families (ACF) hosted a webinar reaffirming WIC’s participation in a renewed partnership with FNS’ Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and ACF’s Head Start and Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) programs.

The webinar highlighted a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between WIC, CACFP, Head Start, and CCDF that defines how these programs will work together to promote and support regional, State and local efforts to improve program coordination and service delivery for low-income children and their families.

WIC State agencies can access the MOU on the PartnerWeb.
