October is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness of sudden infant death and to promote safe sleep for babies. The CDC collaborates with the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) on its Safe to Sleep® campaign.
