Creamy Veggie Dip

This twist on a typical onion dip is a heart healthy option made with lowfat or nonfat yogurt, can be a great way for you or your kids to get more veggies, and is super quick and easy to make!

Ingredients

1 c plain lowfat or nonfat yogurt (regular or Greek)
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
1 t dried dill (dried)
1 t dried thyme

Preparation time

5 minutes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt and seasonings. Stir until thoroughly combined.
  2. Refrigerate for 1 hour or more to let the flavors marinate. When ready to use, just stir and dip!

Notes

Preparing this the day before can create a more intense flavor.
